What parents and students say

📈 +2 grades
Up two grades in three months

My daughter went up two grades from the usual school performance and predicted grades in three months. … It really helped to build vital and consistent revision in the build-up to GCSE exams.

Amazing, saved my maths exams. Matt made the math problems i was previously struggling with so easy. I went from a 5 at the start of year 11 mocks to a 7 in the real exams!!

Online group classes or a 1:1 tutor?

Matt teaching on stage

To every Parent,

As someone who tutored as a one-to-one tutor for more than a decade, I strongly advise that you try out group tutoring before you do one-to-one.

In my experience, it's actually more effective, more enjoyable, and obviously it saves you a lot of money.

A 1:1 tutor gives your child one hour a week with one person. Group Tutoring gives them three live classes a week with me, at their level (Grade 4/5, 6/7 or 8/9), for one monthly price. Every class is recorded, so a missed week or a tricky topic can be watched again as often as they need.

If your child needs someone to sit beside them on one topic at a time, a 1:1 tutor may suit them better.

Just give it a go first and then decide, because you can give it a go for free with the money-back guarantee as well.

I'm rooting for you,

Questions parents ask

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every Group Tutoring subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Attend the live classes, explore the Mastery Toolkit, and see if it is the right fit, all before you pay anything. If it is not right for your child, cancel before the trial ends and you will not be charged a penny.

How is this different from a private tutor?

A private tutor typically costs £40 to £60 per hour, which works out to over £160 a month for one hour a week. Group Tutoring gives your child three hours of live teaching every week, a structured system, a community, and full access to the Mastery Toolkit, for £59 a month. That is less than half the price of a tutor, with more hours, more structure, and a proven system behind it.

How is this different from the Mastery Toolkit?

The Mastery Toolkit gives you the resources and tracking tools for self-study. Group Tutoring gives you all of that plus live weekly classes with Matt, a revision community, monthly parent support sessions, and monthly exam prep mentoring. The Toolkit is the system. Group Tutoring is the system with a teacher guiding your child through it every week.

Which exam boards does this cover?

Classes cover Edexcel and AQA. If your child sits OCR or WJEC, message us before joining.

Is online GCSE Maths tutoring as good as in person?

For maths, the teaching matters more than the room. Matt teaches every class live and works through exam questions step by step, and every class is recorded to watch again before a test. The 7-day free trial is the easiest way to see if it works for your child.

How much does online GCSE Maths tutoring cost?

One monthly membership covers all three live classes a week, every recording and parent support. You'll see the current price when you start your free trial.

What happens after I sign up?

You will get instant access to the platform. Your child can start exploring the Mastery Toolkit straight away and attend the next live class: Tuesday for Grade 4/5, Wednesday for Grade 6/7, Thursday for Grade 8/9. We will send a welcome email with everything you need to get started.

My child's exams are soon. Is it too late to join?

It is not too late. Even a few weeks of structured, guided revision can make a huge difference. The Mastery System helps students focus on the highest-impact topics for their grade, and the live classes give them real-time support when they need it most. The closer the exam, the more valuable that structure becomes.
